The Tooth is Gone!
Ethan lost his loose tooth today - I've been telling him that it's loose enough to pull out, but he's been enjoying just wiggling it. Today he went to wiggle it, and it had fallen out on its own. (Shades of his father, there.) It didn't even bleed. So now he's got to figure out how to spend the money the "tooth fairy" will bring him.

Just for the record, he doesn't really believe in the tooth fairy, but he's playing along to humor his parents.

So is this the first one he lost? I can't really tell from the pic. Hope the tooth fairy is generous. Losing teeth is a huge milestone. I lost all four front teeth just in time to not be able to eat corn on the cob all summer! :0(
Dad always called us Gappy Hayes.
Congrats to Ethan!
Are you going to post how he decides to spend his loot?
It is his first tooth. And Shannon, it's only a dollar, so he'll be saving up for something - I'm guessing either Legos or Playmobil. :)
Just make sure the "tooth fairy" waits until he's sound asleep. After Trevor lost a tooth, the tooth fairy was in his room, switched the tooth for the money and was on 'his' way out the door, when behind 'him' he jumped, as a voice exclaimed, "A-HA! I caught you!!!" That pretty much killed the "tooth fairy" story in our house...
