Yesterday between Sunday school and church, Luke was talking to Ethan. Their conversation went something like this:
Luke: What was your Sunday school lesson about?
Ethan: Ummmm, I think it was ... heaven.
Luke, scanning through the take-home paper and seeing they talked about all the wonders in heaven: So, do you think you'd like to see Heaven sometime?
Ethan: Mmmm, right now I think I'd rather visit New York City.
Luke, laughing, not really seeing the connection between Heaven and NYC:
What? Why?
Ethan: Well, you have to die to go to Heaven, and then you can't come back. If I visited New York, I could still come home.
That makes sense. Especially from the perspective of a six-year-old.

That's pretty cute - and smart. What's his attraction to NYC?
See, that's the thing. We have no idea why he'd want to go to New York. He's never mentioned it before. So your guess is as good as mine! :)
