Bed Check

I check on both the boys each night after they go to sleep - after all, they're so angelic-looking when they're sleeping! Tonight I found Alex in an interesting position. This is not how I put him to bed:

That's right - he's not only turned sideways in the crib, his feet are through the bars.

But look how sweet he looks! Check out those cheeks!

And yes, there are four blankets in his bed. It gets cold in our house at night (mostly because we have the thermostat set to 62 at night in an attempt to not have a giant heating bill) and he seems to get cold without all his blankies.

He looks so sweet in those pictures. I just want to hug him!

What a cutie! How did you get him covered up? And how did you take pictures with a flash without waking him up? I don't think I could do that with either kid.

TTYS. Hope you got a really good nap! :0) Ethan was funny on the phone.

He never even stirs when the flash goes off. He and Ethan are both that way - pretty sound sleepers.

And yes, I did get a good nap. I was very relaxed. ;) Although I can see there are dangers inherent in teaching your kids how to answer the phone.

Ok, I was so busy being a smart aleck that I forgot to answer your first question. I just picked him up and turned him the right way. He opened his eyes, looked at me, grabbed his little Gator, and went back to sleep. He's really good about going to sleep - just not *staying* asleep. :)

He is cute ... and the only time he's very cuddly is when he's tired. But since I usually get to cuddle him two or three times a night anyway, I don't wake him up to cuddle. :)
