As we were standing in line at Walmart, waiting to check out, he turned to me and said, "Know what would be really cool, Mom? If I could turn into a big vacuum and suck up all the frosting and pie. And also muffins."

He's recently discovered Go, Diego, Go! I was sitting with him as he was watching an episode on Saturday. If you've never seen the show, they encourage children to participate by answering questions, doing motions, and so on. He wasn't participating much, and I thought maybe if I answered the questions he'd be more comfortable doing so as well. I had responded a couple of times, and at the next opportunity to do so I started to answer again. Without even looking at me, he said, "Not gonna happen."
I stifled a laugh and asked, "You don't want to answer the questions?"
He still didn't take his eyes off the screen. "Nope."

When he's being affectionate. he likes to pat me and say, "Mama, you're too adorable."

Very cute. "Not gonna happen." Too funny - do you and/or Luke say that? And he used it correctly. :0) We have a girl who jumps in, and a boy who would be in Alex's camp!
I think we both probably use that phrase. I know Ethan does, too.
