Seven days. That's exactly how long it took Ethan to go from being wildly excited about school to saying, "I wish I was graduated already." There were also a few comments about how unfair it is that Alex doesn't have to go to school, how he wishes he'd started school later, and how much work writing letters is.
Life is hard when you're five and in kindergarten.

Poor kid! If he's not liking school already, he has a long road ahead of him!
His comments cracked Josh and I up. Especially the one about Alex not having to do school.

Well, the problem is that he has to work at handwriting, but everything else is very easy for him. (At least at this point.) So he gets frustrated. I found that if we do handwriting first, his attitude is better ... and then the rest of the day is much easier. So he's back to liking school again. At least for a while ...
